What is it?

The Mid-South Homebrew Series consists of 3 annual separate awards and titles:

  1. Mid-South Homebrewer of the Year,
  2. Mid-South Master Brewer of the Year, and
  3. Mid-South Homebrew Club of the Year.

The contest was started by the Music City Brewers of Nashville, TN to create additional interest in regional competitions. MCB quit supporting and maintaining points for this contest series in 2003. The Antioch Sud Suckers tabulated and announced the Mid-South Homebrew Series Points for 2003 and 2004. For 2005 and 2006, the Chicken City Ale Raisers hosted the website of the Mid-South series and served as the official scribes for the standings. For 2008, the torch (or pint as it were) was passed back to the Antioch Sud Suckers to maintain the series.
